One of the key stocks to watch next week is an IPO. The one we are watching is Bioxcel Therapeutics (BTAI) which is set to launch on March 7. This biotech could fly after being listed so keep it on your radar
Key stocks to watch next week, earnings reports
There are a number of companies that are reporting earnings next week and they should be on your radar. To start the week we have Ascena Retail Group (NASDAQ:ASNA) and YY (NASDAQ:YY) on March 5; Target, Urban Outfitters (NASDAQ:URBN), Autodesk (NASDAQ:ADSK) and Guidewire (NYSE:GWRE) on March 6. As we move into the middle of the week be on the look out for Costco (NASDAQ:COST), Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE:ANF), Dollar Tree (NASDAQ:DLTR) and Momo (NASDAQ:MOMO) on all reporting on March 7. To end the week, keep an eye out for Kroger (NYSE:KR), Marvell Technology Group (NASDAQ:MRVL), VeriFone Systems (NYSE:PAY), American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE:AEO) and Finisar (NASDAQ:FNSR) reporting on March 8; while retailer Big Lots (NYSE:BIG) reports on March 9th.
Gun Control Issues And Key Stocks to Watch
Legislation for tighter firearms controls makes stocks in the sector key stocks to watch next week. Keep an eye on Sturm, Ruger (NYSE:RGR) and American Outdoor Brands (NASDAQ:AOBC) and Vista Outdoors (NYSE:VSTO) who have all lost some key selling channels. President Trump’s comments on gun control measures will also need to be factored in, as will powerhouse democrats who continue to push for more and more restriction on the 2nd Amendment.
Gaming and Lodging Conference—Key Stocks To Watch
A number of different lodging, service, gaming stocks will be attending a JP Morgan hosted Hyatt (NYSE:H), Planet Fitness (NYSE:PLNT), Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX), Marriott International (NYSE:MAR), Wyndham Worldwide (NYSE:WYN), Chefs’ Warehouse (NASDAQ:CHEF), DineEquity (NYSE:DIN), Eldorado Resorts (NASDAQ:ERI), Shake Shack (NYSE:SHAK) and Yum Brands (NYSE:YUM).
Massive Nor’Easter Means Airlines Are Key Stocks To Watch
A number of airline companies will post traffic reports for February next week. Note this does NOT include impacts of the Nor’Easter, but be on the look out for languge related to the impacts here, if anything. Potential impacted names include Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL), JetBlue (NASDAQ:JBLU), Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV), Alaska Air Group (NYSE:ALK), SkyWest (NASDAQ:SKYW), Allegiant Travel (NASDAQ:ALGT), Hawaiian Holdings (NASDAQ:HA), American Airlines Group (NASDAQ:AAL) and United Continental (NYSE:UAL).
