Well we could be seeing progress in the war in Israel/Gaza. Oil prices are now on watch. Same with defense names. President Joe Biden announced that Israel has proposed a three-part plan that would lead to a cease-fire in Gaza and the release of all the hostages.
The plan has been detailed to Hamas via Qatar, the President announced earlier on Friday, according to media reports, including NBC News.
Under the proposal, the first phase would begin with six weeks of complete cease-fire and the release of women and children held hostage. During the second phase, Israel and Hamas would negotiate a permanent cease-fire and complete Israeli withdrawal.
The final phase of the plan would begin a reconstruction program in Gaza, according to the reports.
Israel made no immediate statement on the proposal, according to a Washington Post report.
